Hello everyone!!
Well, I've posted a few blogs now and am really enjoying it. I thought, as I've decided that I'm going to really give this blog a go, that I really should introduce myself! It feels weird wanting to tell you everything about me. I've sat and thought about this blog and it really does make you wonder who the hell I really am!!
Well, let's start with the basics: my name is Sarah. I'm a thirty something mother of three and married to one! My eldest is 8 and is called Evie, my middle one is Sam who's just turned 7 and my youngest is Ash, who was 2 just before Christmas. My husband is called Andy and I would not be able to cope without him. I work full time as an administrator in my local hospital and am currently in the middle of a distance learning degree! So, my life is a mixture of panic, chaos, noise and lots and lots of laughter.
I'm not going to lie and say it's easy. It's not. If we all manage to fall into bed at the end of the day without shedding a tear, it's been a successful day. The kids are, to be fair, really good. On their own and in small doses but put all three together for a significant amount of time, like sitting in the car in Tesco car park waiting for Andy to get back with a bottle of wine, then all hell breaks loose! But there is no way in hell that I am going into Tesco with all three of them!! So we stay in the car.
But no, truth be told they really are great kids and I'd be lost without them. Most of the blogs I am planning on posting is to do with family life and will include little stories of my three along the way.
Evie is my eldest and the most sensible and headstrong of the three. When Ash was born she really took on a mother role with him and he now absolutely adores her!
Sam, my middle one has taught me that no matter what size you are, there is always room for sarcasm! He's kind and generous and so funny, but out of the three, he's the one I worry about the most.
And finally Ash! My youngest and final, definitely final child, is one big ball of excitement and pure joy!! He is a darling from the moment he wakes up to the many, many hours later when he finally falls asleep!!
All three add their own unique twist to our family and the results.... bloody amazing!!
